Two Apartment 11 Series, In Real Life and Mystery Hunters, Nominated For Gemini Awards

Montreal – Apartment 11 Productions is pleased to announce that two of its series: In Real Life and Mystery Hunters, have been nominated for Gemini Awards.

Mystery Hunters boasts two nominations: The first, is for Best Children’s or Youth Non-Fiction Program or Series; the second, goes to Araya Mengesha for Best Host in a Pre-School, Children’s or Youth Program or Series for his work in “Mysterious Legends: Ark of the Covenant”. In it, Mengesha embarks on a thrilling trek through Africa in search of the ancient and priceless artifact known as the Ark of the Covenant.

Not to be outdone, Sabrina Jalees, host of In Real Life, and popular comedienne, also takes away the Best Host in a Pre-School, Children’s or Youth Program or Series for her work in the action-packed “Hollywood Stunt Performers” episode.

Winners will be announced in Toronto, ON on October 20th, 2009.
