Apartment 11 Productions teams with Phantom Compass for its debut app release; Prank Party game brings the wacky fun of hit television series Prank Patrol to iOS.

Montreal, QC – Apartment 11 Productions has teamed with Toronto-based digital studio Phantom Compass for the upcoming debut release of its first game app Prank Party, a fast-paced, action-filled card game where players get to prank each other using awesome Blueprints for a Prank.

Based on the hit global reality series format Prank Patrol, players collect and play cards with wacky characters, insane tricks, hilarious prank ideas, must-have props and even sneaky ninjas!  With the right cards in hand, it’s a race to see who gets pranked first!

Prank Party was developed with hands-on input from kids who play tested a tabletop version of the card game and then the iPhone version. Early-stage feedback from the target audience was key in delivering a game that’s easy to play but has enough complexity to challenge players of all ages.

The iOS app will release in select territories including Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Italy and Germany on October 3, 2013.  Full global rollout of the game, including the U.S., is scheduled for a pre-Halloween release on October 17, 2013.

Prank Party features, now available from the App Store, include:

• Turn-based gameplay – players race to complete prank blueprints using cards in their hand.
• Play against friends on the same wireless network, pass and play on the same device, or go solo against some “heartless” robots

• Wacky characters and prop cards like Zombie Mask, Vampire and Magic Guitar.
• Plan your prank strategy using Ninja cards to help defend against prank attacks.

• No in-app purchases or advertising.

Prank Party is the first iOS release for both Apartment 11 Productions and Phantom Compass.
