Apartment 11 receives three nominations for 2024 Canadian Screen Awards by the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television.

Sunny’s Quest
Interstellar Ella takes place in the year 3021 in the Milky Way, where eight-year-old Ella gleefully heads out with her friends on exciting adventures of discovery. At only eight, she already knows quite a bit about space… but there is always more to explore! With Slippy and Madhu, her besties, Ella navigates the challenges that come her way. Things may not always work out the way she plans, but Ella never lets that get in the way of interstellar fun.
Interstellar Ella is produced by Canada’s Apartment 11 Productions and Belgium’s Fabrique Fantastique in association with TVOKids, Société Radio-Canada, Knowledge Kids, TFO, Ketnet and WarnerMedia and the financial participation of the Canada Media Fund, Shaw Rocket Fund, the Canadian Film or Video Production Tax Credit, the Quebec Film and Television Tax Credit, the Flanders Audiovisual Fund, the Belgian Tax Shelter, Screen Flanders and the Creative Europe Media Programme of the European Union. Green Squad sees five passionate and environmentally-savvy young hosts challenge other motivated kids and their families to make fun, eco-friendly lifestyle changes for a healthier planet. In each episode, Green Squad members answer a call for help from one young person eager to make a positive environmental impact in their home or community. The Squad leads three different earth-friendly missions to inform and educate while showing that even though change can be tough, it can also be cool, entertaining and fun!

Sunny’s Quest features first-person stories told by Black children from across the country. Each episode showcases a different child and their unique perspective on their day-to-day hobbies, their talents, and heritage. Some of the amazing children we meet include a 10-year-old Canadian hockey prodigy from Halifax, Nova Scotia, whose family hails from Zimbabwe and the Netherlands; twin 8-year-old Nigerian immigrant girls, who explore the history of Black Nova Scotians at the Africville Museum and an 8-year-old Canadian-Eritrean girl residing in Orléans, Ottawa, whose passions include science, soccer, and upholding her Eritrean traditions.
