Finding Stuff Out: Noisy Bodies
Set in an elite boarding school, Big Top Academy tells the story of an extraordinary group of young acrobats who, through their dreams of becoming circus artists, transport young viewers to the exciting world of the circus.
In “Father Of Mine”, Axel’s (Samson Boldizar) father arrives to tell him he’s pulling him out of Big Top Academy. With his future on the line, Axel must find a way to prove that circus school is where he truly belongs.
In “The Choice”, Max (Cameron Andres) feels like there’s nothing left for him at Big Top Academy and contemplates leaving for good. Phoenix soon reminds Max that circus is a family and his friends need him, but will it be enough to convince Max to stay?
Meanwhile, Finding Stuff Out answers questions asked by real kids. Zoey is determined to find the answers – even if that involves cleaning cow poop. It is a madcap STEM show featuring songs, skits, cool experts, and real kids doing fun experiments. No question is too weird to investigate – Zoey is game for anything!
In “Noisy Bodies” Zoey explores why we burp, fart, cough, sneeze and our stomachs grumble and how these are just the involuntary noises that are the by-product of bodily functions. Other bodily noises we make are within our control, and can be pretty impressive too!
The Leo Awards celebrate excellence in artistic achievement for the British Columbia film and television industry.
